I did not see the movie, but my own experience reading the book back when I was a child was that the book was even very creepy. I remember re-reading the book after I got older, and still felt like it was very creepy. I probably wouldn't bring any children under 8 to see the movie. I think it will be way over their heads, and just too creepy. This book to this day gives me the heebee-jeebees.

I take my 4 yr old to Salon Fin at the corner of Frederick and Mary in Lancaster. They're not a kid-only salon, but Leigh and Karen are moms with young children and do a great job with little ones.

Join the Moms Club of E-town at the group's annual open house Monday, March 8, at the Elizabethtown Public Library. Moms will gather on the second floor of the library in the children's area during the baby and toddler time reading sessions. The library offers stories, songs and action rhymes for babies and grown-ups at 9 a.m. every Monday.
