From 4:30-6 p.m., guests may arrive at their leisure, enjoy a catered meal, browse exhibits and receive a free heart risk assessment. WGAL-TV8 health reporter Susan Shapiro will emcee this event, beginning with keynote speaker Andy Baldwin, MD, who will address, "Making Fitness a Priority for Your Heart Health.'

The former "Bachelor," who gained national recognition as a participant in the popular ABC TV series, serves as a U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander and Navy Diver with the Navy's Bureau of Medicine and Surgery in Washington, D.C. The Lancaster County native is also a spokesman and advocate for Navy medicine. Following Dr. Baldwin's opening address attendees can enjoy a series of heart health sessions that will address a variety of issues including how to manage your cholesterol; understanding heart rhythm disorders; what women need to know about heart disease, and learning about the mind body and soul connection to good health and more.

In addition to an evening of heart-related information, two women (and a guest each) will join Dr. Baldwin for a private dinner prior to the event. Winners of the dinner with Dr. Baldwin will be randomly selected from all registrants and notified prior to the event.

The cost of the event is $10. Advance registration is required. For information or to register go to www.LancasterGeneral.org or call 1-888-544-4636 (1-888-LGH-INFO).
