San Juan Bautista Catholic Church to Host COBYS Parent & Teen Program

COBYS Family Services, in partnership with San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, will offer a free program for teens and their parents/caregivers. The six-session \"Families in Action\" course will be offered on Wednesday & Thursday evenings, August 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 & 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Plaza San Juan. 

This interactive and fun program combines group discussion, learning activities, and entertaining videos to help parents and youth stay connected by communicating effectively, building healthy relationships, and making healthy choices. The format includes separate classes for parents and teens and interactive time as a total group. The parent class will be taught in Spanish. Refreshments will be served.

In The Light Ministries to Host COBYS Course for Parents of Preschoolers

COBYS Family Services, in partnership with In the Light Ministries, will offer a free course for parents of children ages 3 to 5 years old. The twelve-session course will be offered on Wednesdays, September 2, 9, 16, 30, October 7, 14, 21, November 4, 11, 18, 25 and December 2, from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This interactive and fun program combines group discussion, learning activities, and entertaining videos to provide parents with information on child development, communication, preparing children for success in school, and positive discipline.
