Coaches throughout the area are invited to attend the free Coaches' Clinic, hosted by Lancaster General Health Orthopedic Center on Saturday, March 6, 7 a.m. - noon at Lancaster General Hospital. This popular clinic provides practical information that promotes overall wellness and health.

The sessions, which will cover topics appropriate for youth, high school and college coaches, include:

• Post-Concussion Management - Jon Bentz, PhD, Neuropsychology Specialists
• Illegal Drugs & Substance Abuse - James Bender, CAAP, Drug & Alcohol Education/Assessment Specialist, Compass Mark
• Flexibility & Agility Training - Erika Maust-Neiderer, PT, ATC, Lancaster General Health, Lymphedema Clinic
• Prevention and Treatment of Dental Sports Injuries - Lee Patalowski, DMD, M2 Dentistry for Children and Teens
• Understanding Learning Disabilities & Autism - Robin Payne, Director of Admission & Outreach, The Janus School
• Heart of A Champion: Success Strategies to Motivate, Focus and Empower the Champion Within - Stanley J. Kabacinski, Retired Professor Emeritus and Chairperson, Wellness and Sports Sciences, Millersville University, NCAA Motivational Consultant

"The Lancaster General Health Orthopedic Center highly values the coaches and trainers who are our partners in providing a safe, healthy and nurturing environment for our young athletes in the community. Certificates of attendance will be given to all participants for successful completion of the Coaches' Clinic.

This clinic is equivalent to 3.5 contact hours. Lancaster General Health is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers. In order to receive CEU's , participants must be pre-registered and attend the entire session.
