The Family Maternity Unit of Ephrata Community Hospital announce a six-week Childbirth Education class.  These Childbirth Education classes meet: Tuesday, May 12 thru June 16 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.  Designed for expectant parents, these classes are planned for the last two to three months of pregnancy.  Classes help prepare for labor and delivery using relaxation, breathing techniques, and exercises as well as addressing the care of the newborn.  A tour of the Family Maternity Unit is included.  All classes are held at the Brossman Center for Health, 136 Lake St. Ephrata.  The fee is $60.  Grandparents are encouraged to attend the fifth session at no extra charge.  Couples planning to deliver at other hospitals may attend.  To register, please call the Family Maternity Unit at 717-738-MOMS
